Post Veil History: Cisco opened a breach at an abandoned factory outside Central City, but the Veil sucked him in and spit him out... at an abandoned factory outside of St. Louis, Missouri. Obviously knowing he wasn't on the right Earth, but unable to find a way back home, he started doing research, looking for familiar places or people on this Earth, which led him to the Flash sightings, which led him to London.

Chosen Canon Point: Season 2, Episode 23, right as Cisco opens the breach to send Zoom back to Earth-Two

Personality and Psychology:
First and foremost, Cisco is a nerd. Like, the kind of nerd that bullies in high school would put their hands to their mouths and shout, "NERRRRRD!!" at. He's a pop culture junkie, an expert in everything from Buster Keaton to 80's sci-fi movies to comic books and video games. He always has the perfect reference point or analogy for any situation. Additionally, Cisco has a gigantic sweet tooth. He's almost always munching on some kind of candy, and when he isn't, he's gulping down a slurpee or sucking on a pen. Freud would have a field day.

Cisco's main function on Team Flash is inventing gadgets to help the team track, combat, and contain superpowered criminals. Examples include subzero-cold resistant police riot shields, delta wave emitting headgear, and the Flash's own friction resistant supersuit. Even when he can't invent a weapon that'll do the job, Cisco will slap a bunch of LEDs on a vaccuum cleaner and bluff his way through a confrontation. Cisco's secondary function on the team is as the guy who assigns nicknames to all the metahumans they face. He is very proud of the names he comes up with, and fairly possessive over his naming duties (aka try to come up with a name on your own, and he will judge you very harshly). Ironically, when it came to giving himself his own metahuman nickname, Cisco let Caitlin and Barry come up with Vibe. This shows how much value he places in his friendships.

Cisco is beyond loyal to his friends, putting himself in the face of danger time and time again to help or save them. He's not afraid (okay, he's a little afraid) to make the tough decisions if he believes it'll help his friends, who are more like family to him than his own flesh and blood. Said family consistently favors his piano virtuoso brother, Dante, over him, leaving him with piles of insecurities and festering resentment. Still, he rushes to Dante's aid when he gets a vibe that Dante might be in trouble, showing that he still cares about his brother, despite all the bad things that have happened between them.

Cisco blames himself when things go wrong, such as Captain Cold stealing the cold gun he built, or Ronnie Raymond getting caught in the particle accelerator explosion. When the tech he builds winds up hurting people it was meant to protect, he doesn't know how to handle the guilt, so he internalizes it. He makes self-deprecating jokes and pretends to be okay, but inside he's scared and hurt.

Speaking of jokes, Cisco is quick witted, and always ready with something funny or sarcastic to say. He's also brutally honest, and rarely if ever holds back his opinion. If he thinks someone's being a dick, he will let that someone know to their face. Most of the time, his snark comes out against those who frustrate him by being smartasses who flaunt their intelligence needlessly. Cisco is smart without showing off (most of the time), and resents those who brag about their brains.

Cisco doesn't have the best history with girls. As a teenager, his brother Dante stole his crush right out from under him. Later, he was flirted with at a bar by a woman who turned out to be Captain Cold's sister, who kidnapped him and forced him to build her a weapon. His next attempt at flirting, he fell flat on his face trying to impress a girl in front of Barry, though he did succeed in asking the girl out the next time around. Unfortunately for him, however, that girl turned out to be a reincarnated Egyptian priestess, destined to fight an immortal evil dude and fall in love with her reincarnated Egyptian priest boyfriend. Sucks to be Cisco sometimes.

When it comes to his powers, Cisco has mixed feelings. On the one hand, it's pretty cool to be able to see the future and open portals to other Earths. On the other, having come face to face with his evil Earth-Two doppelganger, Cisco fears the potential for his powers to corrupt him, like Anakin Skywalker becoming Darth Vader. This, coupled with the fact that his powers were essentially given to him by his mentor who betrayed him and (in one alternate timeline) killed him, makes him approach his abilities with caution and sometimes fear. While he's always willing to vibe an enemy's location or open a breach to Earth-Two in the name of Team Flash, he sees his powers as more of a curse or an annoyance than as a gift.

Part of the conflict Cisco feels regarding his powers is due to the fact that the particle accelerator explosion, the act that gave all metahumans their powers in the first place, was secretly orchestrated by Eobard Thawne, who had been posing for fifteen years as Harrison Wells. Wells had been Cisco's mentor, like a surrogate father to him. So when the truth came out that everything he had done had been simply a means to an end, creating the Flash so he could destroy him, Cisco felt something deeper than mere betrayal. He felt like his entire career, everything he'd worked for, all his relationships and years of trust were for nothing. He'd been used like a pawn, carelessly thrown away when he was no longer needed. In fact, it was Cisco who first discovered Thawne's true identity, an act which got him killed (in an alternate timeline). In season two, Cisco works hard to reestablish himself as a vital member of Team Flash, both to overcome what Thawne's betrayal did to the team, and to convince himself that he is worthwhile as well. He needs to be needed, deep in his core. He needs to make a positive contribution to science and to the good of the world. All worlds, in fact.

Memories Retained or Lost: Cisco will be losing all memories of Zoom

Powers and Abilities: Cisco's powers stem from being able to "see through" and manipulate the "vibrations of the universe."

Vibing   Cisco gets visions of alternate places and/or times, even seeing events unfold on alternate planes of existence. He likens these visions to feelings, or "vibes." He has developed the ability, with assistive tech, to bring other people into his vibes, and send messages through them. Mostly, this power is akin to clairvoyance/premonition.
Breaches   Cisco can open up wormholes between parallel universes. (This power will be nerfed so as not to break the game.)
Sonic Punch   Cisco's newest, and therefore weakest/most unreliable power, he can generate concussive blasts of vibrations, strong enough to knock a person off their feet. His Earth-Two doppleganger could use these blasts at will, but Cisco is still learning how to harness them, and mostly just does it by accident in times of great stress.

First Sid, now Poey. First Sid, now Poey. It's all Lana can think about. Why do the people she cares about have to die? Even Parker died, and they weren't all that close. She's consumed with anger and guilt, but she's paralyzed by whatever dust that was that Diamondback blew in her face. Her last words to Tandy echo in her mind. "And there you have it-- my love life in a nutshell."

All she can do is stand there and watch the church below where her friends are fighting for their lives. Just stand there helpless to save them as they command her to blow them away. Then Diamondback mentions Poey, and that's the last straw. Lana pushes back with all her strength and turns, aiming her blast at Diamondback and her lieutenant instead of Cloak. She falls from the balcony, landing in a heap of flaming wreckage, but when the smoke clears, she shouts, "...over... it's done... I don't care how many of you I catch but... you're all... DEAD!"

Then she lets go. She throws explosions at every damn Serpent Skull piece of shit she sees, not caring about collateral damage. First Sid, now Poey. They did this. They ruined her life. They're going to pay for what they've done. Poey may have been a drug dealer, but he was a good guy. He deserved better. He deserved to live. But now he's dead, and his body thrown unceremoniously in a dumpster. He deserved better. Lana can't do anything more for Poey than to try to kill as many Serpent Skulls as she can. And damn, does she try.

She barely registers through the tears and the sound of explosions when she's not in the church anymore. All she knows is, one second she was there, the next she wasn't. And instead of wooden beams and derelict pews on fire, it's trees and bushes burning all around her. She stops, unsure where she is or what the hell is going on. She's still crying, though. Maybe I'm hallucinating, she thinks. But no, she can hear the birds and smell the smoke. Feel the wind in her hair. The fire isn't big, it'll burn itself out before it spreads, she thinks. (She hopes.) She stumbles away from it, in search of some answers...

First Sid, now Poey, now... this?

Any other important information (including special inventory items in their possession): Cisco will have his Vibe goggles with him, which help him better harness his Vibe abilities. They will have to be recalibrated to work with the vibrations of this different universe, however. He will also probably try to get his hands on a gun (or build a taser).

Why do you think this character would join/work with the Knights? Because Barry trusts them, and if Barry trusts them, then they're good people. But seriously, Cisco has some considerable skills both as Vibe and as a technological genius that Wynn would be able to use to help the cause of the Knights. And, if he really can't go home, then he might as well do something worthwhile with the rest of his time here.

Do you have a preference for which member of the Knights your character is squired to? I do not care!
