Kara! Hey girl hey! Yeah, I saw your name on the import directory but I wasn't sure if it was gonna be you you or another Earth you. Timey-wimey shenanigans aren't the only things messing things up around here.

I've been good, yeah. Trying to get myself settled and thinking of trying to make a name for myself as a superhero costume-and-tech guy. What have you been up to?

Oh thank Rao! True story: apparently I've been here two different times. One was me from a different point in the timeline, but the other one called herself Power Girl and her name was Karen Starr? Weird stuff. Anyway I'm really glad. Nobody from my Earth is here so far as I can tell.

( Just people who have kryptonite in their possession, which makes her antsy and annoyed in turns. )

Good. You're going to do great with that! And if you ever want some company while you're out there, just give me a call. I'm... good, more or less. A little homesick, but I've got a mystery to figure out here so at least I'll have something to do.

This thing came up last month. I've seen messages like these back in National City. About me, and my cousin. So, I'm kinda wary of them.

I've read some of what they've linked me, but I'm wondering what's really going on. This can't be the whole of it. I can't track these guys down on my own. Or verify if what's contained in the posts and broadcasts they've sent is true.

I was wondering if you'd be willing to help me with this. The ambassador—former now, I guess—of De Chima was worried about it.

You want me to look into finding out who they are? Or validating their claims?

I'm mostly interested in the latter, right now. If there's reason for people to be afraid, it'd be good to know. But to read all that, a lot of it seems like it could be hot air.

So something's definitely missing from that equation.

You want to separate the real, substantial facts from the paranoia-causing myths. I get it. Yeah, that's definitely something I can work on in between my other projects.

[ He doesn't have the same network of sources here that he did back in Central City, same access to government satellites and files, but he'll see what he can do. He's still the second best hacker on Earth 1. ]

Aside from that, how've you been? Is there anyone else here from Earth 38?

Kind of homesick, to be honest. I wish there were, but no. So I've been finding things to throw myself into and I've made some new friends! Which isn't bad at all.

Well, it's weird. Barry's here, so there's a little bit of home. But we're somewhere where my hometown doesn't exist, and no matter what I try, I can't get back there. I've never felt so... [ He searches around for the right word. ] ...stuck, I guess. You know? I can normally open a breach to any Earth I want, but here, I can't.

I feel like I've been messed with, on a fundamental level. And I'm just trying to establish a sense of normalcy to get back from that.

Ahhhh. I know you've probably quadruple checked by now, but I can always do a fly-by and see up close? If you want. ( She nods, sighing quietly. ) I do know, yeah. So your powers can't work here, so much for the idea that this world isn't a prison, right?

If there's anything I can do to help with that, I'm here. No questions asked. I'm trying to find a new normal, too.

Because I kind of barely had one back on my Earth as it was. So maybe we can help each other out here. Knowing I'm not alone, it's helping a lot.

Nah, no need for that. I went and looked myself. The only major city in this Earth's Missouri is St. Louis. My powers still work kind of. I can open breaches, just only to other places on this Earth.

Maybe we should hang out. Have a movie night or something. I make a mean chili relleno.
