[ She doesn't want to make this call, she really, really doesn't, but she's absolutely at her wits' end here and her frazzled voice is enough proof of it - ]

Hey, Cisco? By chance, have you seen Barry anywhere? He's uh - he's not responding to any of my calls.

[ Okay, don't panic. If Barry's not picking up Iris' calls, there's probably a good reason. ]

[ Five minutes and three attempted calls to Barry's phone later, Cisco officially starts worrying. He calls Iris back. ]

What was the last time you talked to him, or saw him?

[ Meanwhile, he opens his laptop and starts pulling up the GPS trackers for the Flash suit. ]

Last night. My shift's a lot earlier than his, so I got up, made sure breakfast was on the table, and...

[ She sighs, taking a moment to run her hand through her hair. ]

When I got back, it was all still there.

Okay... Okay. This isn't necessarily worst case scenario.

[ He pulls up the trackers, but they don't... read... anything. He expands his search nationwide. Nothing.

He sighs. ]

Sometimes... the Porter pulls people out. It happened to me, I went missing for a day. This is probably just that.

Soo... the Porter just sucked him in? Like he was heading to work and then nope, it had plans of its own?

[ That doesn't exactly sound right, but Cisco isn't the first person to tell her about it. More quietly, she has to ask - ]

You think it could've sent him home?

It might have. It might just be holding him while the nanites rework his system. All I know is, I missed a day, and when I came back, my breaches worked when they didn't before.

[ He still can't open a breach home, or to any other Earth, but... better than nothing. ]

What I'm saying is, he can still come back.

Yeah, but . . . [ she hesitates, ] It feels selfish to want him back, you know?

[ He's the pride and joy of Central City. He embodies the hope that their home so, so desperately needed - and even though Caitlin and Harry and others could pick up the slack, they're no substitute. Iris knows that, deep down. ]

Not that I don't. [ She wants him in her arms more than she'd ever want to admit. ] But on the off chance that he got Ported home, maybe it could be a good thing.

[ He's Central City's hero. Wally does what he can as Kid Flash, but CC needs Barry more than Heropa does. ]

Well... Keep an eye out, I guess. There's a chance he'll still come back, but. If he doesn't... I guess that's good too.

[ She has to take a moment to mute herself and mourn, because even though Cisco says there may be a chance? That they may find him back in Heropa some day? She doesn't feel right wanting him to be trapped. And yet his absence is breaking her, more than she wants to admit. ]

Will do. Cisco, I... [ she takes a breath, ] Can you come over tonight? Maybe stay a while?

Of course.

[ She doesn't have to ask twice. He knows how close Iris and Barry are. To have each other and then lose each other like that... ]

Thank you. [ She swallows thickly. She's not gonna break here - not now - but she knows she'll need time to really process this. ] I uh, I'll make sure there's plenty of ice cream.
