I may not have your specific traumas, no. But if that means that I don't go into every unfamiliar situation guns blazing, then I think maybe I'm better off for it.

It wasn't unfamiliar. In my world, robots--onmics, we call them--of that size were corrupted and used to cause massive destruction. Just one can wipe an entire city off the map in less than a day.

So you saw a giant purple bat carrying a guy and thought omnic. I guess I can get that. But it's important to know that-- this isn't your world. This world, it pulls in people from all sorts of universes. Most likely, the strange things you see are going to be wholly new and not the same BS you dealt with back home.
